Each week I focus on various themes such as foundational standing poses, hips sequencing and twists, bbackbends, breathing to relax and release anxiety, shoulder opening and mobility, strength focused yoga sequences, arm balancing, inversions and so on. Level 2 classes focus more on advanced and more challenging sequences and level 1/mixed level is about building up the foundation in your practice.

Vinyasa Yoga classes are typically more fast paced and we flow in and out of the poses. This is not for compete beginnners.

’Find your foundation’ Yoga Classes is aimed at begninner students and those looking to improve their practice at a slower pace.

A typical class will guide you towards moulding the practice towards your own body’s anatomical system. This also is about shifting into a more subtle level to focus on the overall energy system through looking at your breathing patterns. Alignment techniques in a posture are not necessarily about making a pose look anatomically perfect - its about the student using the ‘tools’ to bring stability, strength and more mobility and flexibility into their body. You could say this is a practice to unfold equilibrium back into your body.

Yoga classes are available to beginners and mixed levels.

“Yoga practice, both on and off the mat, opens up the heart by revealing our patterns of grasping and inflexibility. This practice leaves no stone unturned. Through a disciplined and appropriately designed yoga practice, we not only see clearly our conditioned ways of living but we learn how to let go of those patterns so that our questions radically outnumber our answers. When we are open, and our habitual psychological and physical ways of being are suspended, we arrive in the present moments of life free to respond with an open and creative heart.”
